got the call during school classes surely its illegal to give out a minors details?

i get calls from this number all the time , everytime i miss it it doesnt leave a message saying why they rang , probly some stupid optus survey

This number called me and when I answered they hung up after about 9 sec of silence. So I called back and it was some one from telechoice and Optus. After my contract is up,I'm finished with Optus. They're coverage isn't that great at all!

It's droptus or telechoice using details they steal out of your personal file to try sell you crap you don't want. Identity theft? I won't go Optus again...

They have been calling me too, and then hang-up when I answer. Unless their entire aim is to ensure they never get any custom, I don't get why they do this.

I got a call from this number too, they knew my previous address and offered a discount on my energy bill - i was already with energy australia. Got my welcome pack and now receiving 16% off my bills! Id answer the next time they called if i were you, def not spam.

A call a day from this number. When I answer it appears to hang up immediately. Kind of stalker creepy really.

Googled the number, 2 missed calls, Optus guys, just don't answer it, nothing you want to hear anyway. Waste of time!

Australia has a national Do-not-call registry. Register your phone number and within 30 days telemarketers should stop bothering you. If they don't you can lodge a complaint.

This number called me and google led me here. Have blocked it now. Suspect it is another optus number used for marketing.

I've just got a missed call! Now I know who it is, I'll just ignore it !

I just got a voice mail from these people also mentioning Optus and that I was eligible for various discounts etc. After reading similar posts here, I just added their number to my black list (if you have a Samsung phone you can black list numbers, which means that they can't call your phone).
