This says it is Immigration Bureau. Definitely targeting the Chinese community in Australia!

Evil scammers attempting to trick the innocent into making their even more evil bosses rich. These people are truly human garbage. I believe their karma will come, but until such time it is time for governments to do more to protect people from this endless barrage of scam calls, to protect the vulnerable. It is time for the authorities in the countries where these operations are run out of to bring these people to justice.

Caller: Chinese scammer pretending to be from govt

My blocker app flagged this number as Potential Fraud and rejected the call. Female scammer ( * )hole left a message with options to select Chinese or English language, purported "there was an important message from the govt" in Engllish then repeated in a Chinese language (dunno which, but probably Cantonese or Mandarin). I've blocked, reported and deleted the number. There have been a lot of reports already about this number to Reverse Australia - I've also reported to Scamwatch, and blocked the number. I hope our Chinese Aussies take care and don't fall for these scum.

Paypal scam. Saying large transactions have been authorised from your account and then ask for all your details

Repeatedly calling from 5 different numbers all linked. It’s harassment.

Implied was from Telstra and I had a problem with modem that “he could help me with”. Wanker!

The usual scammer behaviour, an unknown number calling and then not bothering to leave a message after butting into my life and my home. I'm sick to death of it. I can block all calls from interstate numbers but it isn't practical to block all local ones.
