I bought some concert tickets on the ticketmaster website, as soon as I completed the transaction a screen came up saying if you enter your name you will go in the draw to win back the cost of your tickets. Well, I started filling it in, thinking it was a ticketmaster comp- but more and more questions came up as a survey -I decided this was not a draw and quit out of what I had done. Well evidently that did not kill what I had started - ticketmaster had my name and phone number details and with the few questions I answered I received e-mail info instantly and today 6 phone calls from the from this number here. It is an insurance company - and they have got your phone number from some random thing you may have filled in on the internet.I didn't answer my mobile as I was at work - and didn't recognise the number. Same, no messages left - they then called my home tonight. Will definitely be complaining to Ticketmaster and following SKIN's suggestions. Certainly won't be doing any more on-line stuff.

Silly me got a quote thru insurance line and now I keep getting a million phone calls a day, generally while Im at work and unable to answer. They let it go to messagebank so that it then costs me to check msgs that are just a hang up. If I had been thinking about going thru them, theyve definately managed to make me change my mind.

please can someone stop these people ringing me its annoying and i told them to put me on the do not call list. 4 phone call s in the the last 5 hours.

Stop ringing me!! Why not leave a message if you feel the need to speak to me and have to ring 10 times in 4 hours!! Don't know who you are or who you think you are but my number is on the do not call register and you keep flattening my phone battery!! Stop now

Very annoying, never leave messages, not there if you answer.
Is there a government agency who can stop this type of use of telephones?

My number is listed on the Do not Call website, and I've received 9 calls over the last month from this number - they don't leave a voicemail when my message explicitly says to do so or I won't call back.
I don't remember ever signing up for an insurance quote though...
