The best way to avoid these callers is not to answer when they call. If it’s important or from someone you know, they will leave a message. These callers don’t usually leave a message, meaning it’s not important.

IPSOS Marketing survey, calling themselves Iview marketing research. Calls from this number are blocked and diverted to my scammer answering machine.

I don't really mind participating in research when it is conducted professionally. In fact I often do.
I asked questions about who was doing the survey and why and was told they can't say anything as it will "impact the answers".
I told them I was not interested in participating in a survey that I didn't know who was funding or why and the man named Chris said "okay no worries, goodbye" in a extremely immature nasal voice.
Clearly he is frustrated with his job and might be well suited to other employment.
If you get a call from these guys and you aren't interested in the survey go ahead and block the number.

These idiots keep calling me VERY early in the morning, not realizing that I have moved to Western Australia and am 3 hours behind!!

Caller: "Researcher" on behalf of well Known Australian Law Firm.

So how did this fraudulent caller obtain MY name?

They ring and hang up as I answer it or before I the phone never leave a message.

I called them from a landline - voicemail saying they are iView, a market research company EXEMPT from the Do Not Call register...don't know how that's the case.
Have blocked them after they called me three times.

This is a company that are in market and social research data collection.
with the voicemail attached to the recording it does clearly say they are exempt from the Do Not Call register so leave your number and they will endeavour to remove you from the contract list within 48hrs

I do the same it's the best solution

rings once, then hangs up. when called back another language spoken, like listening to a call centre background

They called several times but I only picked up one. I didnt speak then the woman on the other end used a lazy and rude voice said, well we will just call back. I blocked the number right away

Same time frame every night. Don't answer and they don't leave messages.
