This number is the marketing arm of Australian Power & Gas. They continue to call (my mobile number) even though I have told them that I am not interested. I've had this mob call and they charged me for the privilege (1.25 for an Info service) I'd like to know who to complain to.

This is so frustrating! This number 9938 2790 keeps calling me at exactly 1:30pm everyday for the last three weeks. Have noticed that they have been calling other people approx the same time as well! So Annoying!! Isn't it obvious that if I am not answering their calls im just not interested. These people needs to be educated!!!!

I just called Brendan at the number listed below and he was very apologetic as well. Hopefully this will stop the calls (three in two days!)

Thanks to Brett for listing Brendan's mobile number. I rang him and he was most apologetic and helpful and he would get the calls to my number stopped.

This number continually calls my business mobile, interuppting meetings, sales calls and my day.

So it's Australian Power and Gas doing this? Shame on them. If anyone actually signs up to them, it may very well be due to the fact they feel a little harassed & flustered by the incessant ringing of the phone.
Wouldn't it be ironic if their customers find it hard to contact their customer service for legitimate enquiries because they're all tied up making spam calls?
I think I'll write to my local MP, and encourage them to petition the Australian government to reign in the energy retail sector from wasting money & time on idiotic phone calls - and investing more in clean energy.

Seems like they are using an old outbound predictive dialler - hence the delays when starting to speak, or being pout on hold when they call u (if it is dialling too quickly agents dont get to it) it also accounts for the repeat calls cause they aren't using the dialler properly. Whenever there's a delay to my greeting I hang up as it is nearly always telemarketers on a dial out machine.

This number has called me every day for the last four days. The one time I picked up it was just music and then they hung up.

This number calls me at least twice a day. Sometimes more. When I answer they hang up. I wish they would go away as it is so annoying!!!!!

They keep calling me & everytime I go to answer the call it's like it just hangs up on me. They ring atleast once a day if not more (for the past month, I'd say) & it's really pissing me off. How can I stop them ringing me

When they call take control of the call by trying to sell them a telephone service. This doesn't fit in with the scripts they have in front of them. Most of the time the telemarketer doesn't know how to react. Lol

Everyday for the past 2 weeks at around 1.30pm I watch my phone ring. I have told them no and yet they call and hang up. The dogs should be burnt at the stake, its unacceptable and bordering on harassment. Over persistence is a marketing flaw and if they had any integrity they would give up the tele-calls and pursue business in different avenues.

They called me and when I answered it was like I was ringing them then they hung up. I hope I wont be charged for it!!

I don't know how this people got my mobile phone number it seem like scam.

I have been receiving unsolicited calls from this number for the past 3 weeks. I have told them I am not interested but still get at least one call every other day.

I have had a call from this number for the past 4 days approx the same time. i have been unable to answer due to work commitments but when i did on friday there was a lot of background noise but no one spoke. Will know not to answer phone at all in future when this number calls.
