phoned back they said they are breast cancer group, hung up and blocked, they dont leave a message not in my phone book so i dont answer. have already had my card compromised by some charity. i hate unsolicited calls

Called. No message left. My phone picked it up as a suspected scam. Blocked!

Rang, hung up and didn’t leave a msg. I won’t answer numbers I don’t know anymore as generally a nuisance call.

Scammer. They use a pre recorded voice message pretending to be a Cancer research charity. Have a bit of fun and throw them random questions to have them try to scramble to find the best pre recorded answer lol.

Absolute scum of the earth trying to use cancer as a means to scam people.

I have 8 missed calls from this number in 2023 alone - never leaves a message. When I try to call back it says the number is disconnected? I've blocked it now...

From other responses I am taking this as a SCAM and also because the phone call was to what is now my old phone number which is now used for my Internet connection and my telephone system. My only problem is that I can't leave a message on the system for legitimate callers who may still calling my old local telephone number. The reason I can't is because the scammer will at least know the phone number has a person at the end of it. In addition, the telephone system only allows 49 Caller Blocked numbers, so I can block this number on the system.
What I would like to find out is how I am able to block that number on my actual iPhone. To date I have only found numbers that have rung that I don't know, I check with this very useful website and if dodgy I can then process it as Blocked. I'm not sure if anyone is allowed to reply to me directly if they know how I can process the number via my iPhone which is a Model 12.

Was dangerous pre-recorded lady ,and after transfer another person and didn't want send me letter or email but go on their website to give my credit card or BSB info and say no thanks

Several others have already reported this mob of clowns. BLOCKED!

My message for this one would be similar to my post about an earlier call today from (03) 9917 8622. Probably the same lot using a slightly different number to bypass being blocked.

My phone silenced this call thanks to Telstra. No message left, number blocked.
