ROBO CALL

I did not answer. Called back. Recorded message claiming to be from the Prostrate and Breast Cancer Foundation which is a registered charity in NSW. However I am suspicious as the number I was called on was Victorian

Scripted voice prompts, might be real person but asking for continued support of charity for Prostate & Cancer Research. Would barely let me get a word in. When advised I already regularly donate to other cancer charities, she said it was great and I can continue to help by supporting them... Marketing/Scamming

Caller: Fundraisinf for breast and prostate cancer research

A long-winded call to raise funds for cancer research. A real nuisance as it is the third unsolicited call in the last 30 mins. Sounded broken up like VOIP often does.

I called back (but blocked my caller ID) and received a recorded American female voice (with taints of non-US up-bringing) claiming to be from mycharitysurvey.com representing Prostrate and Breast Cancer Foundation. I was given an automated opportunity to remove my number from the database but 'no operators available to take my call about anything else. Legit? I doubt it.

Yet another pseudo "Charity" trying to scam people. They use several different numbers commencing with 03 area code. I block them.

Quite agree with previous post. They seem to have numbers in a sequence +61 03......
