Call but no one spoke

I have been getting so many calls starting with the same 4 numbers 9917 and then variations on the last 4. I don't answer as I assume they are nuisance calls and they never leave a message.

I'd say it's a scammer call, asked if my name was Miss Miller. I said no and then they wanted my details and I said no and goodbye. Looked up their number and their charity name and couldn't be found.

If I don't recognize the number, I don't answer, they normally call around lunchtime or after 5 pm.

Why do I keep getting calls like this? My number is on the do not call register but I keep getting this crap.

I didn’t answer, but called the number back to get a recorded message from some charity organisation.

Calling to try and offer a tailored set of phone plans under the guise of vodaphone

Caller: Charity Prime

They have rung on a number of other numbers. (02) 8073 4175, and within 10 minutes later on (03) 5616 2010 then next day on (03) 5915 9757. they were most upset when I got stroppy and told them to take me off the list and argued they were legitimate, until I pointed out that they do not have any registration numbers, and they cannot be found in their own right.

I have blocked at least 6 different phone numbers and it's always the same man calling from Charity prime, rings me every day

Man said he was from Charity Prime - I don't normally answer but I am so sick of these calls. I am listed on the Do Not Call register and have blocked other number after reading comments here. Am trying to look up Charity Prime and no such thing - only thing close is Prime Charity in India.

As per above, They called, I answered,(I don't usually answer calls whose number I do not recognise) but it could have been anyone, really! Upon answering there was noo response whatever!

No message left … so annoying I’m looking for a new job … it’s hard not to answer unknown numbers but no left messages is very suspicious… I’m grateful for this service

Returning the call gives a recorded message about no one at Charity Prime Call Centre available to take your call, but that they "may call you back".

If not a scammer, then nuisance charity caller.

Caller: Haven't a clue

Rings 2 to 3 times a day, doesn't leave any message.
