Just adding another incident as complaint for this number

Received a call from this number - didn't answer. Glad I didn't.
Yet another scammy number blocked.

Caller: Said it was Ergon Energy

This is a scam number. Checked with Ergon and they said no emails sent as caller had said has been done. Scam number and call, do not call back or answer.

hung up as soon as I answered. ( I didn't speak - just waited )

Hung up straight away when answered

No message left. Blocked number. It's probably being dialled through a dialler. Which is why ppl can't call it back.

Tell me I had a issue with my electric account. Scammers block the number. Interesting is the he knew my name

Answered but they hung up. I tried calling back 15 mins later only to get a message stating the number had been disconnected due to suspected fraudulent activity.

Rang me 3 times in one afternoon, tried ringing back but no response. Have blocked number

Apparently they were calling from a "price comparision" company and said that my name was on the electricity bill. I don't have my name on any bills so dodgy! I called the number back immediately and heard a recorded message that the number was disconnected due to fraudulent activity.

Didn't answer as number unknown. They didn't leave a message.

I do not answer unknown numbers. If it is important I have message bank. This number called me 3 times in the space of 8 hours and left no message after each call. After a quick search, I see this number has been flagged as unknown, scam, and worse. I will be blocking this number immediately, and I suggest anyone else annoyed by this number not answer as a voice print could be taken for illegal purposes and also block the number.

Asking about an internt domain registration, trying to sell Web development service etc. DONT ANSWER !

Really annoying. Telcos need to do more to protect their customers.
