Another scammy fraudster. Unsolicited random call with short rings just to ensure their computer generated number can connect to a live number somewhere on the planet. It just keeps ringing random numbers. When it gets a connection, as in the phone rings, their computer logs it down to a connection & they either sell that number on or use it themselves to try to scam people into giving them money. Dont answer it, block their number, report it to scam watch & delete the contact details from your phone.

call at 8.15pm He knew my first name which I did not confirm . I asked who is calling and he said Martin from Victorian Energy program of which I cut off his spiel and hung up

Left a incoherent, creepy message

Bad thing is, they knew my name
Somewhere there is a data base for sale!

Block this number if called from it. I asked who was calling and received abuse.

Call at 4.25 p.m Saturday. Unknown number. Did not pick up. Quickly rang off. No message.
