They state they are from visa/Mastercard from all banks across Australia and there are transactions in my accounts. A scam trying to get money.

Caller: Indian Scammer These Indian scam callers are so persistent…. 99% of conversations I have with people from India are now these scammers. I am not racist, but I can’t go into an Indian restaurant or buy from an Indian shopkeeper without cringing.
The Indian government knows where and who they are, but does nothing. It’s part of their economy!
The Australian Government (both major parties) is as weak and water, and knows the extent of the problem but does NOTHING EFFECTIVE. They need to change telecommunication law so that ALL landline and mobile calls have their Caller ID verified. No verified Caller ID… no call.
The Do Not Call register is a placebo that the scammers ignore… it just doesn’t work.

Caller: Telstra Called claiming to be a Telstra employee. Was offering 6 months 50% off my mobile phone bill for being a good customer. Provided name and employee ID, and quoted some of my personal details back to me - including an email address that I have never used with Telstra, and isn't the email on my account.

Caller: "Security company for Australian Bqnks" Called, tried to say they were commonwealth and talked about a transaction in my account, then when I said they aren't my bank they tried to backtrack and got angry and claim they were a securities company. When I asked what the company name was and told them I was recording the call, they hung up

Caller: SCAMMER Female with strong Asian accent claimed to be from the security department of Amazon and said fraudulent transactions were being done in my name. When I asked for her name she said Lisa Martin and patronising in tone. I asked to speak to her manager and she said no to speak with her. She didn't tell me how she got my full name and mobile number. I said she sounds like the scammer and she refused to provide a staff ID number or email. She hung up on me. When I tried to dial (03) 9871 7443 back it didn't ring. 14 Nov 2023 at 3:34pm.
I called the offical Amazon customer service line 1800 571 894. I was told my account was okay and they have no record of a call from them to me, so the call received was a scam.

My turn to receive a rubbish call from this number. I didn’t recognise it so of course did not answer. Checked here and see it reported already. If everyone just ignored calls from unknown numbers and did not call back missed calls that don’t leave a message then this kind of annoyance would stop.
