This wombat keeps ringing . I told him to piss off and he still calls back . Finally told him his dodgy LEDs burnt out his dodgy solar panels and I can't call Telstra as it burnt out the line and gave my pc a virus - you are responsible for all this : he told me to go get f$&@"$ and hung up . If he calls back again I will order a vindaloo, butter chicken and rotti bread .

Indian guy selling LED lighting. Phone area origin is Werribee. Vic. There's nothing you can do except use your own personal answering machine. Should not have to do this but India never was short of these d*ckheads. I bet his wife is so horribly ugly.....

I have had exactly the same problem. I kept hanging up or asking for ABN and return phone number (this is suggested by TIO). Then a male rang me almost hourly with disgusting sexual "suggestions"

Called about LED lughting. As I work in a call centre and am on the DRC register, I informed the man that his call was illegal and my number should be removed from their listing. When I asked for their supervisor to discuss how my number was obtained, they chap said yes yes yes...then hung up on me. Tried calling the number back, constantly engaged.

Sick to death of these idiots, they rang at 11pm last night waking the baby up, which in turn woke everyone else! I ignore all the obvious scam/telemarketer numbers but my older kids have answered some and this one changes to something different each time.
Fwiw I am putting this on all my complaints as we are on the DNC list but have been getting up to 10 calls a day from various telemarketers.
When we changed to Telstra we realised on our first bill that they have spelt my husband's surname incorrectly, and I am on there in my maiden name.
His surname is unusual and they way they have spelt it is another version of it's spelling (it's French) but when we get telemarketer AND scammer calls, they ALL ask for the names on the bill - my maiden name, and Telstra is the only acct with my maiden name on it, and they ask for my husband by saying his name phonetically, as in they say his name in the way it is spelt on our account, NOT in the way it is meant to be said.
Like the name Shaun/Sean for example. Sean is usually pronounced Shaun, but some people say it as it is written - Sean (so pronounced like "seen", not Shaun).
Every single call we've had has used the incorrect name for my husband & also asks for me by my maiden name. Including scammers.
The only possible way they have got the names is via Telstra, and most employees outright deny they sell off your details, even when you have a private number and are on the DNC register like us.
Total, 100% proof that Telstra absolutely does sell your details. We haven't had this issue with other phone companies, only when we had to change to Telstra due to needing the T-Box as we have no reception.
I guarantee if you set up an account with a fake name with Telstra, you'll get bombarded by scammers asking for that fake name - we get all these telemarketer ones, but the "I'm from Microsoft/Bigpond/Windows (Windows? Seriously? At least you can laugh at that) and your computer has a virus blah blah blah" Indian scammers we get have asked for us by those names. Probably Telstra call centre staff themselves doing a bit of scamming on the side....good one Telstra.

When you have to answer your phone as you have sick friends or simply return calls missed when you are out this is a damned nuisance, Are we able to report this to the telecommunications ombudsman?

Getting a missed call from this number, I see that my phone says call blocked, so I guess I must have received many calls from this number before.
