Said it was about my electricity but they called me by my maiden name so I know it was a scam because I have never given an electricity company my previous last name. Have blocked them.

Flicked it to message bank. They didn’t bother to leave a message so I didn’t bother returning the call.
Probably spam.

Caller: telemarketers from overseas

Got a delay before pickup (tell tale overseas telemarketer using local no.)
Tried to talk to me about some electrical discounts. Tried to avoid to tell me which company she was from. Said price carter when I insisted.
Feels like scammer.

Same. Call missed, attempted ringback, number disconnected msg.

Answered the call after receiving a missed call every day for a fortnight and the person on the other end was muffled and sounded oriental. They knew my first name and advised they were calling about an electricity bill which, is incorrect as I do not have an electricity service in my name.

Don't give them any details about gas bills, Meter numbers etc
This goes for electricity meter numbers too . They're fishing for data to connect you to where you live.

When I tried to return the call I was told the number is not in service. SPAM no doubt.

Line sounded bad lots of cutting out and beeping. I replied that I don't have any gas and they hung up on me

This number rings my mobile 4 times around lunch time and 4 times around dinner time, never anyone there if i answer and never leaves a message. I have reported this number and blocked it and they still manage to ring and annoy.
