This number has called me numerous times over the past couple of weeks but I ignore it. Each time I’ve tried to call back, it says the call cannot be connected and to check the number and try again.

Caller: Energy company

Some energy company asked for your current energy bill. Told them I lived in Mars and only stay on this planet for a short period.

Hung up the phone as soon as I answered

They hung up on answering

Scam call - number is disconnected when you ring back

Leaves numerous missed calls and hangs up when answered.

Received missed call at my mobile phone from this number same time (around noon) every day. When I tried to call it from a land line (in lieu of my mobile phone), it says "Optus advised the number has been disconnected"

The number above called my mobile today and just hung up.

seems like they hang up so you call them back....and no doubt get charged a load of money
