Caller: A female with an accent who had trouble speaking.

She had trouble getting words out. I couldn't understand one word so blew my metal whistle into the phone and hung up.

Scam. Claiming to be from NAB and that money had been transferred to NZ. Caller had my name but when challenged a bit and asked for his decided to hang up - how rude!
Reported to Telstra.

Caller: A heavily accented individual on a very poor connection

Calling from Telstra! Asking me to perform checks on my computer as hackers have got access in my area - unfortunately some people do fall for this so please be warned!

Caller: An Indian bloke claiming to be from Telstra stating our internet service was to be cut off

Told him he was full of 'BS' and hung up! Reported the phone number and nature of the call to Telstra: now that number has been blocked and an international block has also been applied to our land line. Do Not Call 1300 792 958 is to be updated as well by me. Telstra tech said these calls are designed for the scammers to access our computer and banking details.
