Caller: NBN Scam Call

A call claiming that I needed to press 1 to talk to a technician because my broadband would be disconnected within 24 hours.

Sounded like a recorded voice claiming to be from the NBN network and that I needed to per 1 to talk to a technician or my broadband would be disconnected within 24 hours. This happens two or three times a week.

NBN scam call, wonder why Telstra is not doing something about these calls.

I bought a Telstra Call Guardian 301 landline. If a number is not in contacts list they are asked to state their name. If they don't, the phone doesn't ring. The number comes up on caller Id and I then block it. My landline has never been so silent.

Just got a call from this number.I did not pick up and waited for my answering machine to cut in as the message instructs the caller to identify themselves before I pick up the phone.They never do and just cut the call. Just so fed up with scammers...no use threatening me about my NBN because I don.t have it.

As above...a robo call saying Your internet will be disconnected unless we press 1

I'm instructed to press 1 to speak to a technition if I want my NBN connection...
I normally pick up the handpiece and just listen. Let them initiate the conversation!
Today.. I simply said Yes? which activated the machine and I heard the recorded message.
So Friends, don't speak, and the robot will hang up. Simple simon said :)

What use is the Do Not Call Register? It's a failure. These frequent calls are unsolicited, scams and of general nuisance.

NBN Scam - automated call advised there were issues with our NBN service and it would be disconnected.

28/5/19 Call from Nicole from NBN saying we would be disconnected in 24 hours. It's the same name / message as is 03 9821315 & (03) 9899 8287 which we have also received. Have a new VTECH phone from JB HI FI which allows one to block numbers. It's working but "whoever" just uses new phone number but same message

These people continue to ring on my landline. I always let it go to message and they never leave a message. Wish I could block them but can't block on my landline. Real pest. If call was genuine they'd leave a message.

Caller: Overseas Scammers

Received this call but did not answer, no message left, so I ring back and ...."your call could not be connected, please check the number and try again"...
These overseas turkeys must find all Australian disconnected numbers and somehow manage to show them on caller ID when they call.
