I answered one of the calls. Looking for individuals aged between 50 and 59 to ‘maximise tax rebates’ available. Based on equity in your home. I suggested that I was renting rather than owning my home. Given that I am an accountant, I was curious as to what tax rebate I was unaware of. I asked for some information. I was told that because I was not a home owner no information could be given. Draw your own conclusion! As a general rule, whatever the ‘product’ if it looks too good to be true, it probably is!

Yes totally agree ! Many calls throughout the day! No one on the line when you answer.

Random calls from this number, when I tried to call back it states the number is disconnected.

I missed the call and when i called back a recording said “your call can not be connected” so I hung up and blocked the number.

Its a Gov outbound call centre - free info service.

Two calls in less than 12 hours. Likely spam.

Called back again and I answered and they hung up.
I called back straight away and it said “this number has been disconnected”

Hangs up when you answer but it sounds like a call centre of some sort.

Must be a scam.
Using my number to get call logs up.
Or something more sinister aimed at me
