Are they just spamming Optus users ? Scam - don't answer and add to blocked list

They claim to be from the Australian retirement foundation checking if you're eligible for some government incentives. When I said I'll call them back they hung up. The number is disconnected. SCAN

Call Centre "ghosting" their number through a Dandenong phone number. Don't call back - just add to your BLOCKED CALLER on your mobile phone......

Scam, answered and didn't say anything, they hung up immediately. Called back said number was disconnected

How the F can we have a phone and legal system that doesn't identify and prevent these soulless scam artists???? 12 calls in two days from this number.

Call from retirement campaign, wouldn't give me details of privacy policy or Financil services guide, when I asked for these they hung up on me

Call the Do Not Call Register on 1300 792 958 and put in a complaint.
This number is definitely a SCAM and the more people that complain about it means that they can take actions on finding the people responsible.
It's all well and good to come on here and tell people it's a scam but seeing as they are getting personal information out of people they really need to be shut down. So please take the time to make the lodge an official complaint.

Same here - some retirement scam claiming that I entered a survey/competition "possibly a couple of years ago" - didn't like being told that the number was on the Do Not Call Register, but persisted anyway. Put caller on notice that the call is being recorded - she said "it's being recorded here as well". She hung up when I I said "It'll be great for ACMA".
