They claim to be Telstra and tell you a stupid story about your internet being discounted. When pushed to answer simple questions to prove they are Telstra they hang up.

Got a call from this number - did not recognise it. I answered the phone - there was no one on the other end so I promptly hung up on them.

Claims to be from Telstra stating your internet has been hacked, and calls you on your mobile asking how many lights are on your router, i believe to be a complete scam, as soon as you ask them what time their Technician will be around to fix the problem they hang up.

I've had exactly the same experience. They have phoned more than once. Does anyone know what the point of these calls is, from their point of view?
