Caller: Said they were from a national broadband network

Automated australian voice - said they were from a 'national broadband network' & that 'your connection would be cut off in your area' & urged me to press 1 to talk to a technician. My number is not registered with any broadband connection (it's through others in our household) & they made no mention of an actual company however it was convincing to someone who might have a connection. I hung up but I fear other people wont.
