Why should I pay to find out who is calling me when they dont wanna speak? Ban the damn number!!!!

They called my mobile. I ignored it. I then called them back from a land line and i got the telstra message a few of you have talked about... they are definitely scammers!

Yep called the number back and a recorded msg said, "Thanks for calling Salmat" and that they were ringing to talk about Telstra's products and services. They said they might be calling back or if I held on the line, then they can speak to me now.

They've been ringing me everyday for the past few days. I just leave my phone on silent/no-vibration so they don't bug me during business hours.

It is coincidental that have been receiving calls from these guys after I redirected my mail with Australia Post. I entered my number on the application form. I have been receiving Telstra and other promotional material in the mail with a slip saying a didnt tick the box which displays ''I wish not to receive promotional material blah blah...''.
So if for any reason people have registered their number directly or indirectly with Australia Post I think that could be onne of the marketing companys sources.

Just got a call today. No and no.

seriously i was like "my boyfriend is with the same phone company as me. I get free calls to him. can you do this?" "no .. but we can" "you're not listening. I get free calls to my boyfriend who is with vodafone. can you do this for me?" "no but we can do.."

NO YOU CANNOT SO SHUT UP.

someone called me from this number as well. i picked up, a guy spoke to me. he said he's calling me from Telstra company and want to offer me some of their services. i told him my number is not with Telstra and asked him how did he got my number??? he said we have a list of phone numbers we try to contact them and talk to them about our services then he talked about the plan price n stuff like that, i didn't want to hear it i just told him i'm busy n i have to hang up he said ok wats ur name ? can i call u another time ? i gave him a fake name n told him u can call me tomorrow around 2pm, and he didn't call me after that
