I worked for Belvedere furniture and it closed I think in the mid 1980's so you won't get any replacements I'm afraid.

We have just bought some of your furniture,namely a bedroom suite consisting of headboard with thin tapererd spindles,one large dressing table cupboards either end and three drawers in the middles plus two bedside cupboards,all extremely well made Varnished in very dark brown Would appreciate any information on these items.regards

In ca 1975 we purchased a 5-piece Belvedere db bedroom suite (bed + head + lovely dress. table + 2 side tables) from one of Harvey Norman's early stores on Parramatta Rd Sydney. As we recall it may have been a "Colonial American" suite - with ornate bronze handles on drawers and little side shelves and turned spindle supports adjacent to the mirror. It has served us well. Unfortunately one of the ornate handles has broken (through wear) and we are unlikely to obtain such handle in Hobart. Are you still making bedroom furniture using this design of handle. There appears to be very little info about Belvedere on the internet. If necessary, I could do a sketch of the handles and mail it to you. Looking forward to your reply. Ian & Pauline Houston
