Caller: Scam AGL?

Woman called "Victoria" rang saying they were offering better electricity rates for a property - she knew we had more than one and in what location. Still being suss I asked her to email me rates but she said she couldn't until after I accepted the deal, I asked her to call back tomorrow. I rang AGL and after long verification process asked if they were cold calling offering better rates. I was told "NO" they don't cold call existing customers but will email offers when forwarding bills. So unless AGL don't know what each department is doing this is a scam... be wary folks.
