I have received a phone call from one of their salespeople on Wednesday, 8 May 2019 who offered me to buy a box of 12 Australian Shiraz wine for $159 that 'normally sells for $30 per bottle', he said. When I declined he said he 'would sharpen his pencil' and offered it to me for $129 (at 'about $10 per bottle' he said) and express delivery so that I would get it on Friday. The salesperson has also said that if I 'don't like it I can return it for a full refund'. We were going out on Saturday 11 May, so I agreed. Nothing arrived on Friday, but I received a box of 6 bottles of some obscure Italian Syrah today, on 14 May. We have opened one bottle and tried it. I do not believe that this wine could be sold for $30 a bottle, I do not believe it could be sold even for $10, as it is of inferior quality to most Australian $10 Shirazes. I was told a bunch of lies by the salesperson and received not 12, but 6 bottles of inferior wine for $129 at a different time that was agreed on. The manager would not admit these as mistakes, was quite rude and agreed to refund only on return of the wine.

Was told it was a 2014 Mitchell Betty and Max Clare Valley shiraz for $129. This was after some dubious discount. I could not find any reference to Michtell's being involved in Betty and Max Clare shiraz. I was promised my money back if I did not like it. I tasted 1 bottle (could have tasted 2) and sent the rest back. I only received $107.50 back.Will buy wine from them again.

I was contacted by one of the representative by phone who gave me certain information on a ‘special’ Sauvignon Blanc.
The claims were:
It sold in Dan Murphy’s – Sail the High Sea’s Sauvignon Blanc is not in their wine portfolio. Only found out what the actual wine was when it was delivered.
It was from New Zealand – it is not, it is from South East Australia
I was to get a $20 voucher applied to the sale and the Total would be $109.00 – it was charged out at $129.00.
My overall opinion of the wine is that it is a quaffing wine, probably not worth $10.75 a bottle, more like $8.50 bottle.
As I was misled in this sale (and I despise deceit), I have requested to be removed from the contact list and not to contact me again. Time will tell!
In short, I shall not be buying from Oak Road again.

I received a call. Do not know how they got my number or email. Offered me a Peter Lehmann. I bought two cases because I know the brand. When it arrived it was labeled Sail the High Seas. I contacted Oak Road and was told the wine was "sourced" from Peter Lehmann and bottled and labeled by Oak Road. I will not do business with dishonest companies. They are picking up the wine next week and I expect a credit. What is wrong with being forthright and honest?

Got a call from Jake? offering cheap good quality wine. Tried the hard sell saying I had a $50 voucher that expired tomorrow. I wanted to do my research so put him off a few hours. Research indicated poor quality wine. When Jake rang back I informed him that my research did not provide very good feedback and read a couple out to him and then informed him that I would 'give it a miss'. He said "I'm a bit sh*tty' and hung up. I'm not sure if he was sh*tty with me or the reviews or both.

We love the wine. Got 2 cases for just over $200 (less than $9 a bottle) and we're rapped with it. The best quality wine I've ever had for that price and I used to work as a Sommelier for Ezard, so have tasted my share. Their Cloud 9 Sav B and the Dashchund Shiraz were not only drinkable, but I would suggest closer to $30 bottles in taste. I'll be back and prefer buying from Australian small businesses than multinational supermarket chains.

I received a call late last night selling wine, told him I could not afford it and he insisted by telling me I could pay in 6 months on a new pay later scheme @ 5% interest.
I agreed, only to call today to cancel as this 5% seemed to out way the discounted price.
The girl I spoke to could not find my name on the system and then told I had to pay $25 to cancel the order. Considering it was less than 12 hours from them calling me, I became quite upset. Ended up being blasted by James for upsetting his staff.
I emphasise they called me, I did not instigate this sale.
Will not ever deal with this company again.
Left feeling assaulted by this company.

I have been getting multpl emails each day for a week or so. Never signed up for this or requested a $50 voucher either. Not sure who sold them my email and phone number. Not happy. Told them to remove me.

I received a Robocall and pressed "1" out of curiosity, with 10 minutes a lady called 'Charlotte' called me back. I ended up buying a case of Shiraz at $11.90 a bottle including delivery. The wine tastes good and very similar to my normal tipple that is $16 from Dan's. I'll probably buy again, the process is much easier than queuing at the Bottlo and getting ripped of there

was contacted by phone and told I had $50 voucher it was not true . Cancelled order after reading complaints. But they refunded less $25. That is a lesson in cold calls selling wine. written down to experience.

Such bad reviews for a company that has always looked after me very well. Always been happy with the service I receive. Wasn't happy with a wine once and they swapped it over straight away for me.

Have ordered wine off Oak Road Estate for about a year now. They have always been helpful. Orders have always been on time. One order Aus Post damaged and they were onto it straight away and sent out a new case, received it within 2 business days. All my family orders from them they have never had any trouble.

Do not know how they got my e mail address They are carefull not to list theirs What they do is harassment and a criminal offence. If I cannot contact them then a formal complaint to the VIC police

I was approached via the phone to buy a carton of 12 Cabernet Sauvignon bottles
which were to be delivered to my door and left under the stairwell
However I was given Cabernet Merlot and I had to go to the Post Office to claim them
and as I am handicapped with hip problems this was quite an effort for me.
I feel that I should have some compensation for being supplied the wrong wine.

Received a scam call from them. Claimed I had a $50 voucher and used it to push vine. "You only need to spend $89 to use your voucher!". Pretty obvious scam, plus the actual wine is bad, they buy dirt cheap wholesale cleanskins and badge them as Oak Road Estate.
