I have inadvertently answered two calls from someone purporting to be from Telstra over the past 2-3 months and I told them where to go.

Call missed today and I "RA" to see who it was.

Not sure if the far column details are correct, but those of you who are in the area....well I will leave it to you to figure out.

Scam call - I listened first and you heard a click like you were transferred to someone. Surprise - Indian accent claiming to be from Telstra technical team and advising me I had been visiting social app sites on my PC. I cut him off and told him where to go and he hung up immediately.

scam. Same thing Indian accent claimed to be from Telstra. But I can’t understand the strong Indian accent and immediately he became very rude.

Claimed to be from Telstra and advised we had downloaded infected files - he hung up as soon as I said I was transferring him to my IT department.

Rang then hung up as soon as answered

Caller: Telstra Technical department

They claim to be from Telstra and proceed to tell you your computer has downloaded corrupt and mailicious files. SCAM
