Architeck Homes owe our business almost $10,000 for work completed at two of their construction sites. We have tried collecting money ourselves as well as through a debt collection agency without success. We have also been informed by local lawyers of multiple incidents like this and worse, with both subcontractors and clients that have not had there homes completed at all. I would not recommend doing business with them in any way, shape or form. They should have there building licence revoked and be forced to wind up their company.

Are you seriously stupid? Most of us have already gone through consumer affairs and the lawyers who are the professionals trying to get our money back. We were all happy

when he lost all his assets but whatever was left from the money was paid to the bank and creditors. The biggest victims here were all the home owners who were promised

a beautiful custom built home but were left with unfinished houses and a lot of poor quality workmanship. You don't think we were all embarrassed when we promised our

families that we will be moving into a new home when it never happened? I think most of the his customers weren't through some type of stress or depression during those

several years of suffering. Numerous times Mehmet could have given back our deposits at the beginning but he insisted and promised he will finish the job. Full of continuous

lie after lie. As soon as he knew he was in trouble he should have put his hands up and surrender but no he was in dream world and ignored all our calls.
All I hope is that his kids don't learn from his crime!

I would love to meet the guy and see where he is located these days. Last I heard he was in jail. He already declared bankrupt against his name and his business.
I guess the main problem everyone had with Mehmet was the difficulties in getting contact with him.

I am owed over $213,000 by Mehmet Mehmet's company Architeck Homes Pty Ltd. The company is now in External Administration (court-ordered bankruptcy) and Mehmet has been incarcerated for grevious bodily harm, kidnapping and attempted murder.

The worst builder I ever met. Always has excuses but never admit his own problems. Took money did not do the work and make the commitment but never deliver. Why such a builder should ever exist ?Too many people like us are suffering because of him.

Do not have anything to do with Architeck Homes.
Have been taken to court by Consumer Affairs and he didn't even turn up! Also, been on Current Affair several times as the shonky builder. Has at least 9 houses have issue with him. Took deposits worth hundreds of thousands of dollars and did not build the houses. Owes many tradesmen a heap of money too. If you doubt this complaint, call Consumer Affairs for information. The case was in December 2012
