Extremely annoying.
I am a receptionist for an advertising agency and these people have been calling religiously.
I've added them to my 'do not answer' list.

Telemarketeers, a damn pain. I politely asked them to hold the line, put them on hold and went about my business :-)

They would call a couple of times a day asking for the owner. When I asked where they got the number from they said yellow pages. Good cos we have never advertised on yellow pages.

Indian telemarkets. When I told her I couldnt understand she hung up. Well it mustnt have been important.

Called everyday for over two weeks, and wouldn't take no for an answer I ended up having to be rude to him.
