Called my ageing mother and tried to scam her out of cash. Heated conversation, told her she was late paying a bill, he'd have to call the authorities unless she paid it right now etc. What kind of ugly person does this?

Call received from: (03) 9383 5481 - Thick, Indian accent. Gentleman calling to say he is from 'technical department' of TPG internet company. Only introduced himself upon me asking: 'Jack Parker, employee ID D10997'. I asked him where he was calling from: '215 Miller Street, NSW'. I asked the location of his call centre. He still repeated the same, over and over again: '215 Miller Street, NSW'. He requested that I should go on google or bing or any other search engine, to search for Telstra speedtest, and proceeded to wait until I did the speed test, then tried to explain what the number say. Then, requested that click on two buttons simultaneously: windows button and 'R' button, to explain that I should type in 'eventvwr', then explained that there are customviews and admin events, and it is because of these admin events that he is calling. Apparently, TPG communicates with the computer each and every time, and there are too many of these events, and they need to be corrected and removed. Then, he requested to again click on windows button and 'R' button, and for me to type in www.anydesk.com - again, this was very simple, he said. This will help him, log on, and 'fix the problem'. He repeatedly continued asking what do I see on the screen. I repeatedly kept replying that all I see is a blank screen. He asked 'how come?'. I said: 'Because this is a scam. Would you please put me through to your supervisor?' Jack Parker finally put down the phone i.e. disconnected.

Dear Jack Parker and his employers, thank you very much for employing a team member with a low IQ. I hope he got paid for his time: it was 20 minutes. I collected all the data for this website to report, and to report to authorities in Australia.

Claimed my computer was infected with viruses. Offered to help if I gave him access to my computer. I told him he was a criminal trying to access my bank accounts. He hung up.
