Too many sore losers who attempt to bring staff down to their level and also other patrons who arent sore losers and just want to have an outing regardless. I dont blame Luke putting them back in their place since he and probably all bingo staff get alot of negative people blaming their misfortune on positive people. I believe the sore losers are just bringing on their own bad luck even in other areas of their lives. I used to sometimes get a bit drunk before going to reservoir bingo because I couldnt always block out sore losers and Im a patron! Well, I have obviously put myself in the staffs shoes. Its supposed to be an outing for fun and in others company and to support the game too. I think the sore losers should realise their pretty self centred and dont care about others. I also used to live with, work with/for New Zealanders and I dont think there is anything wrong with their calling. Also Luke gets picked on too much.He calls just as fast and well as anyone else Ive heard. I wonder if the sore losers give the other gaming places a hard time eg- tattslotto agencies. It is intimidation and attempted manipulation if you ask me. And why shouldnt the workers play too? We are all equal and they put in more than money, they put their hard work and even health into it. Have you ever thought of that sore losers? I win a little and lose more so what. I get things out of it that are beyond money. Businesses have to make some profit to compete and survive. This all I have to say at the moment.

Further to my previous comment that I accidently posted unfinished. Its any wonder that sometimes some of the staff particularly Luke, say something back to the sore losers dishing it out. Im glad Im not a sore loser and happy for others. I wonder if the sore losers complain to tatts outlets also when they dont win anything in tatts. As far as Im concerned they are bringing on their own bad luck and negativity probably in other areas of their lives. They need to stop and listen to themselves for their own sakes anyway.

If. There is a bingo that is rigged it is the st albans bingo the staff members r rude and arrogant. Specially Luke and Susan will not come back til they are sacked and Ave told people about it

I just discovered this site and have much to say. I used to go to reservoir bingo for over 10 years and I have had more luck here at st albans bingo since Jan 2013 even in small wins. I happen to love Luke and am not judgemental of anyone because I go to bingo for other reasons. I have been blamed for peoples misfortune too as I recently realised my voice changed when I was explaining to my relative that the person who won almost missed it but was meant to get the win anyway. I also seem to sit amongst winners which I am always happy for including my phone alarm accidently went off one night and I started to have a panic attack but a lady called out bingo and it gave me a chance to find my phone and silence it. People need to realise its not always about winning money and that their good fortune may come in other ways including when they stop trying to force it and thinking of themselves all the time. So Lets be grateful and happy for others then everything comes to us when and how its meant to I have found anyway.

Not professional, they change prize structure when they don't have a lot of customers and without notice

Guys I have attended the centre for over 20 years and find the staff to be professional and honest. If you don't like it move on and find another it's that simple. Luke is a laugh and anyone that says different is small minded and arrogant. Without Luke's charm and humor it wouldnt be the same. As for rigging the game it is impossible. Leave the staff alone they spend many hours for your enjoyment they are dedicated workers enjoying their work place. Their money is as good as yours they should have every right to play besides they starting playing there well before they ever wirjed there. Love ya Luke

After reading all the feedback of patrons good and bad I think management should just take a look at having staff not play it would save a lot of hassles and make them more transparent . Just a business opinion. Nothing more nothing less.

I go to Bingo at St ALBANS most weeks I have read these comments and have heard from friends its rigged.
I find the staff very pleasant and helpful but I also don't think that the staff should play at there own venue.
Most bingo centres i have played at won't let there staff play.
Maybe if St Albans adopts the same policy it will stop all the bitching.

I stopped going to the St. Albans bingo centre 4 years ago..I have nothing against Luke personally but I find when he calls out the no.s he is unclear and too fast. A number of times, patrons have confronted him about it and he was very rude. told them its not "his problem" plus a few other things when other patrons stuck up for the lady who asked him to slow down. I found that very unprofessional. I went last night to the St. Albans bingo centre the other night and seen him there. I left straight away..I am honestly in disbelief how he can still have a job there??

I've played in many bingo centres over the years and I can tell you that I don't know any other bingo centre more dedicated to its customers. Staff always endeavour to fulfil each and every customers particular requests when it comes to their certain specific needs, no matter how big or small (from what I can see all requests for the customer are satisfied) I choose to go there because I feel comfortable and welcomed.
I just wanted to let you know this because I see how the staff are treated (especially in these posts) when they go above and beyond their duties to create a fun atmosphere. I believe that the negative energy coming from certain people needs to be stopped and customers should appreciate the excellent service provided.

For your information. Bingo cannot be rigged as its a series of random numbers generated that exist in only random books. Statistically speaking you cannot rig bingo, it's impossible. People that think it can be rigged need to be educated on how the game operates.

Bingo cannot be rigged at all it is a random number generation of numbers. Statistically speaking you cannot control the numbers coming out and therefore the books that are going to win. It's just impossible to cheat at this game.

Are we talking about adults here or children. I've been going to St Albans for many years now...not a regular but every chance I got. Now...I go there because it's my choice, not because someone had forced me too...but because I like it there (staff and prices). My point is...if someone is not happy to play there then why go back.!!...as simple as that!!!
