I came on Wednesday in nestle Altona to deliver 2 pallets on rigid truck , I been denied entry by nestle security because I m sikh and had tying a turban . I been aak to remove the turban for hard hat . Even no cloth I can wear on head while entering the site . Its a discrimination in the shadow of health and safety . I never faced anything like that in life where directly I been insulted and discriminated .
As a sikh I cant remove my turban . We fight in world war first and secound with turban . We r in police in army in all sectors of industry with turban on .
Turban is a part of my body a daily life routine I tie every morning . I cant remove publicly to do a delivery .
I request nestle safety manager to look it and try to understand it our way . Most of drivers r sikh. U making uncomfortable for us only .

My name is Wendy Pelns and I am writing to you on behalf of the Williamstown Maritime Association/Pirates Tavern Williamstown.

The Williamstown Maritime Association is a not for profit organisation and our profits go towards preserving the Maritime history of Williamstown of which we are located in the Maritime precinct.

Each year we have a fundraising night with all proceeds going to the Royal Children's Hospital Good Friday Appeal. This year it is on March 16th at The Pirates Tavern and we are showing the 2016 AFL Grand Final Replay on a big screen (before the beginning of the AFL season) & incorporating pies, hotdogs, raffle’s and other activities. Staff on the night, including myself will be donating our time.

The idea of the night is to have fun with Western Bulldogs supporters, friends & families in the same room, watching the game as a group, being as loud as they want and having a drink while watching the game all before the 2017 AFL Season kicks off.
Entry will be by gold coin donation and all profits made on food, beverage and raffles will go to the Good Friday Appeal. We are also hoping to secure the attendance of a couple of Western Bulldog premiership players for an hour or so throughout the course of the night.

Previous fundraising events have always proved to be very popular when hosted at the Pirates Tavern raising funds for the Royal Children’s Hospital & the Cancer Council Association.

We are hoping that you might be able to donate any nestle products to be sold or given away which would be greatly appreciated.

I am sure you are getting many requests such as mine for donations and given we are a charity we are donating our time and profits to another worthy charity being the Royal Children's Hospital Good Friday Appeal.

The WMA will proudly display your logo on the evening via our big screen, also on our Pirates Tavern Facebook Page and it will be emailed to our 250 members and also by way of table stands on the evening.
