Indian call centre scam artists. You would think after being exposed on the ABC recently these morons would give up. Blow a whistle in their ear if they call you...they won't call back.

Caller: Claiming to be my Bank

Rang me, line wasn’t very good.. man I talked to had an Indian accent. The alarming thing is he knew my full name and which bank I am with.

He said that was I trying to send money to some guy in the US 600 dollars and I said no.
He said that he put a block on it as he thought it was a scam.
I said but I don’t see anything from my bank account of me sending that amount of money.. he said he blocked it but will show in next 24hrs but anything I do with my bank always shows up straight away.

Was talking for 1 min then I switch it if as I know my bank wouldn’t call me but email me and I know their call centre are here in Australia not India.

Didn’t feel right, even more alarming is he knew my full name and bank I go with.

tried to say she was calling from NBN and someone in China was using my IP Address. absolute scammer

Caller: Amazon

Pretending I had an Amazon package.
Told them to piss off and blocked them on the home phone.
I am on the DNC List, but it is useless and does nothing.

Called me and told me they were from Telstra and I have an issue with my internet. He said he needed to show me the issue.
Im not with Telstra and knew it was a scam.

Caller: Scammer

Asked if I had received my exhaust cover..said I was on the do not call register and don’t call back.. Half past 5 Melbourne time but midday in India

Caller: Don’t know

Waited until I answered then they hung up suspect it was my fifth scam call for the day
