Scammer purporting to be from NBN

Scam caller spoke with foreign accent phishing for personal details

Female Asian called me. I said “hello” 3 times before she asked if my name was . . . She had correct name. Eventually said she was “insurance” and then said “you accident”? I said No! She hung up!

Repeat caller with different number. It's a bloody scam and number cannot be blocked on land line.

It could be if the Telcos took this problem more seriously

Still out scamming. No connection when rung on other phone.
Time phone companies got serious and validated phone number usage as part of connection process.

Received call twice now on landline, time delay before foreign voice speaks, asks if speaking to my name. Wary of these calls

SCAM call.

Received a call from this number. No message left. I see here the same number has been reported multiple times. Frustrating it cannot be blocked at the source.

Claimed to be NBN.

Asked if they were speaking to the name they had on file (which was correct) then hung up as soon as I said "Who is calling?'
