Second call in 3 days. On first call wanted to make appointment to connect NBN. Why? mine has been working non stop since it was installed, we need to come into your premises. My answer, no you don't. Email from NBN said this is a scam. Today's call supposedly was confirming an appointment with a former neighbour who had used me as a contact for Telstra when she had a problem many years ago. She moved to a retirement village over 7 years ago...records not up to date and a scam all in one call. Waiting for NBN response.

This appears to be a genuine Telstra call. In my case I think they meant to call a different family member as they are having trouble with Telstra.

I phoned Telstra to check on this number. So upset they rang me multiple times then hung up after 2 minutes then phoned me back. I stopped talking to them then. But I did ask Telstra and they said it is legitimate, it’s a Telstra number.

It is Telstra, as I phoned them independently and they confirmed it was from them regarding NBN rollout. When they originally called the message was so garbled it sounded like a robocall, I couldn’t understand anything, just vaguely caught the word Telstra

How many times must I explain to the farcical ones the matter has been settled even though the POTS needs a 240 volt GPO.

How did you confirm that is Telstra? Because they told you? Any information from telstra publisher or website can prove that number is from telstra? Did they ask you to confirm or verify who you are by asking your detail (including date of birth and phone number) over the phone? I won't trust that. Even they ask me to confirm. (the reason is simple, they can get some from somewhere, then gain your trust and ask you to give more to build up their information. BE AWARE !!! What I said apply to any call you don't know.

has this number twice on my missed call list. Had NBN out to instal service previous day. Rang the number back and recording said it was a call was made to my address but no one was home and to contact 132200 which is the telstra contact number. Contacted Telstra on that number and Telstra checked the number that called me (03) 9331 8000 and i was told that there is no one using that number from Telstra and that it is a scam call.

They ask you I need your DOB to confirm your NBN connection. I said really? I said you tell me what DOB you have in your system and I'll tell you if you guess right or if you're ligit lol.
He goes is your name, so and so name. I said it all depends. It could be Deeper or Suckdeep 😆 What's your preference lol.
