Caller: I don't know

This number has been calling every few days consistently for the past two months. No voicemail left. When I did answer the call, was met with hold music for a minute, and then someone named me and refused to give any information about the reason for their call except for needing to "discuss an important business matter". I did not confirm my name, as they repeatedly asked if they were speaking to *my name*. Do not answer this number, likely phishing for information.

Called back and went straight to a messaging service ARL and collecting information etc scammer!

Caller: Credit Corp

Credit Corp - They cannot contact or attempt to contact you More than seven times within a seven-day period, this is law. Take screen dumps of the calls and email to yourself, keep in a folder. Cantact a law authority if they breech that

Heads up, never answer unsolicited/unknown numbers for your voice is being recorded for identity fraud!

Caller: Someone PayPal go through apparently

Said they were associated with PayPal. But when I called PayPal, there was no issue

After reading all other responses about this number I have had several calls and sms from ARL claiming I have a PayPal debt but when I contacted PayPal they told me my account was fine, no issues. I use it all the time. No idea why they keep contacting me. I never answer or respond.

Answered phone, music playing, woman spoke and said she was from ARL? on behalf of PayPal. Wanted me to confirm personal information before she could tell me the reason for the call. Sounds like a scam.

ACCC guidelines: "We recommend that you do not contact a debtor more than three times per week, or 10 times per month at most (when contact is actually made, as distinct from attempted contact) and only when it is necessary to do so."

That being said, they breach regularly regardless.

They are in breach of ACCC guidelines with permissable contacts per week.

Credit Corp - They are only allowed to call a certain no of times - . Take a screen dump and keep these is a file and report to the ACCC. You are in a contract with the bank or institution only NOT Credit Corp. Do not say your name and do not let them trick you into a payment plan. You can lodge a harassment claim with state authorities if they contact relatives etc under stalking. They are unethical and are not above the law

Scam!

I have had 14 missed phone calls from this number this year. It’s now the end of January. Today they left a voice message but got my name wrong. They told me to call them back with a reference number. I’m not calling them back and have now blocked this number

I have received a call from this number every day for a few weeks, answered the call once. Went straight to music have not answered since. Seems highly suspicious..
