Landline number which is why I stupidly picked up. Some bloke spoke 7 seconds of gibberish (like Indian or similar) and then hung up. I tried to call back on MY landline only the number did not connect - not even a dial tone! PIGS!

(03) 9316 9211 - 1 July 12.28pm Didn't recognise the number but as it was a landline call I answered but, in Chinese. Caller was female calling from Visa/Mastercard Security-" How are you today?" Treated it the best was I know how. Flushed, reported, blocked. Some of my personal details have recently been lodged on the dark net after a medical scam so I guess the callers are turning over to see what they have bought.

Told me they are from Telstra. When I said I didnt have a Telstra account they hung up

This number called while I was overseas. I generally do not to answer when overseas also as I don’t know the number, no message left.. I subsequently looked up reverseaustralia and confirmed my suspicions that it was some random scammer.

Possible spoof number as I am receiving several type calls from different numbers weekly. Check to see if your number has been "sold" on the dark web , via google search.
