Caller: Telstra

Person claimed to be from Telstra. Had a very thick hard to understand accent and a very large amount of noise in the background. I’ve worked in a call centre for Neiman Marcus/Horchow and there was never this much noise even at our busiest during Christmas. She claimed that there had been numerous issues with my internet over the last few days and that there could be other people using it without my knowledge. I asked who the account holder was that she was looking for and the name she provided me with wasn’t mine or anyone that I knew. Since I’m not the actual account holder my number and name aren’t listed anywhere on the account so I knew it was a scam straight away.
