Person said they were from my internet provider. When pressed he said he was from Telstra and that my internet was showing my computer was infected. I ran a virus scan which did not detect any infection or virus. He kept telling me he would talk me through how to fix it. When I said that my virus scan had not detected any virus he kept saying it was infected but didn't have a virus. I kept asking him what the difference was between a virus and an infection and how was he going to fix it and eventually he hung up after I had asked for his phone number - which was different to what was displayed when the phone call first came through.

Scammer ..Supposedly from Telstra ..Cyber Security. Internet connection has been Hacked etc etc. Return call was engaged.
