I asked how they got my number. i was advised they obtain it through surveys that we complete and he used the example of woolworths mobile. So if you've ever signed up for, or asked about a Woolies mobile, life insurance, salary insurance etc then these people will call. We go on to a database held by a company called 'Australia on disk' which was explained to me as an online white pages. I'm going to ring them up and ask i be taken off eh list

Ah, if it's funeral insurance, then it makes sense for me. I saw an ad on Facebook about Woolworth offering $500 gift card for doing a survey. The site was legit I believe, but the survey was never ending. One survey led to another, like to activate you application to receive your gift, there were more surveys and I remember that one of the question was about funeral insurance, which I must have answered YES. So now I must prepare myself will a bunch of calls from the people from the survey. All I wanted is the $500 gift card, which I think I gave up in the process as it was too long and too many questions and newer survey to do. Next time, forget about the gift card offer at all.

Do not fill in an online form asking about insurance as these people ring relentlessly.
