Caller: Said he wsa from Telstra. Had the same number call me regarding porting my number, asked me to verify who i was i would not tell him as i did not know who they were phone as conversation was so muffled i hung up on him.

I had just been dealing with Telstra so could have been them calling back - but no-one there when I answered (twice).
Tip: Always ask any caller that says they are from Telstra for their Delta number - something like D123456. They should know it without hesitation. If they are phoney they will likely hang up. If they are genuine, make a note of the number and keep a record of your conversation - you will get generally get better service as they have to take ownership of the issue.

Caller: Telstra Called because i made a request to change mobile plan. Seemed a bit dodgy but i dont know how a scammer would know that i recently put in a request to change my plan?
