I did not ask to be contacted by I-Select, I was just browsing for information.

iSelect has a tick box that you cannot by-pass before getting insurance info. Then they sell your phone number to call centres who constantly harrass you. I just wanted an insurance quote and now I'm getting 4 calls per day from charities and various call centres.

Interesting. I have had 2 calls this morning after I looked at the i-select website as well, and I am on the do not call register as well.

So I am not the only one. Why won't they just speak when you answer so that you can clear it up the very first time!

I have been called non stop for the moment I filled in some info with iselect very annoying. I receive at least 5 calls a day and it's been 6 days now.

wont be using them as like others they call you answer and they dont talk!

I searched iselect too and now am being harrassed DAILY by this number...they dont speak when i answer...i am not calling u back...f*ck off!!!!

the question is..how the hell they got our mobile number hence we didnt leave any information in the website that we looked at..

I viewed the iSelect website some time ago, they don't respond when I answer the phone and they terminate the call after a few seconds.

No more iSelect for me!

It is iSelect the insurance company. Very Very annoying in the last 36 hrs I've received no less than 6 calls.

I also have looked at iSelect recently, it's probably them. Only one missed call so far.. if they call back i'll tell them to read the comments here!

This number has been calling me for about 6 months. And I never used iselect. Another company must have given them my number. I should have ticked the box! Every single time they hang up on me so I don't pick up any more. Even when I didn't realise it was a prank call in the beginning I would call them back and it would answer to silence. I have labelled them in my phone as 'prank caller' so I know not to pick up when they ring. They call every day.

wow people are retarded... i just had a missed call from them but i'm not angry because yes i viewed quotes this morning and when you go through the online quoting on i-select, you have to enter your number and you have to manually check the box agreeing to the terms and conditions before seeing the quotes - it's in step one. so if you clicked through to the quotes, you can't just go off tap saying "where do they get off calling me" without sounding absolutely stupid because you actually agreed permission for them to contact you. if you didn't read the terms and conditions, i don't understand what you morons are b!tching about.  that would be like signing a bank contract, not reading the terms then find out there's a clause you don't like later on - you should have READ the terms BEFORE clicking the check box that says you agree... and if you don't agree there's a simple solution - don't use the service.
