They are calling Auckland, New Zealand as well, but don't actually say anything when you answer the phone.
Who ever is paying these knobs to cold-call, really isn't getting their moneys worth.

Rang my mobile number 3 times last night. I am on the do not call register. If they want to call me during business hours, thats OK, otherwise, I don't want to waste my time. I don't answer calls out on normal hours unless Iknow the number.

They consistently call my work mobile, however they only let it ring twice before the disconnect the call. It has been happening for months, and is very disruptive

Called my business number (VIC number, I'm in NSW). Hung up as soon as I answered. Would be SO nice and easy of them to say "sorry, wrong number" rather than just wasting my f***ing time.

They just rung my area postcode 4350 and said they are ringing from my area?
Caller ID is great as the Victorian number came up.
I told her that I know the ages off all my staff.
She said wrong number then hung up.

Just because you are on the do not call list does not mean that if, for example, your bank has your details and you have signed and allowed calls from them, if they sell your info to someone else (as a part of their own privacy policies you agreed to) that the other company can not call you without going against the donor call rules. It's not against the rules if you agree to privacy policies with anyone that allows them to pass your info on. Be aware of this when you say yes to the privacy policies of your banks, electricity, mobile, internet providers etc etc.

Rang today saying she was was from National Hearing Center and they were offering free hearing tests in my area. Then demanded to if I was on a pension. When I said I had to go out and they would have to ring me back to fob off the call, she demanded to know if I was on a pension, twice, so I hung up.

Claimed to be calling from National Hearing in (name of my suburb), wanting to know if I am over 55 and interested in a hearing test. When I said no interest, I was then asked for the names and numbers of people I know who are over 55.

Interesting that my number is unlisted...

Claimed to be calling from National Hearing in (name of my suburb), wanting to know if I am over 55 and interested in a hearing test. When I said no interest, I was then spruiked for the names and numbers of people I know who are over 55. I declined to provide any info.

The caller was clearly deceptive - she claimed to be calling from a local business but the caller ID showed a Vic call centre number.

Its the National Hearing Care, I was sick of them calling and hanging up as soon as I say my business name. So I just called them and asked them to remove my number from their register. Now we will see in a week if they try calling back.
