21 calls in a day, I tried answering a few times and there's no one on the other end... WHATS THE POINT???? If it is NAB chasing payments, I don't have a NAB account???????

Legally any call canvassing whether it be debt collection or sales the company involved cannot call more then three times in a day

They can't leave a message cause it would count as a contact, which is regulated, whereas attempts aren't. Kinda sneaky and underhanded, but many wouldn't even show their caller ID. Still fricken annoying.

If theyd bother to hear my voice mail message, theyd know that Im overseas and cannot take their call until a certain date, which is given.
Ive called them back and theres a transfer to another line, then no answer. theyre a bloody nuisance.

21 calls in 2 days- is that all? How much time do these guys spend chasing up less than $100 debts? How about a cost-benefit analysis NAB,seems there are some big guys owing you millions...

I wish NAB could simply leave a message, I can't always take calls at work 1. It would save alot of time & I'd fix it up straight away 2. No'one wants everyone else near them at work to hear them talking about a late credit card payment or making payment arrangements.

Crusty and others are correct. From personal experience, I missed the due date for payment of my NAB credit card. After 5 days I received the first of a series of calls from (03) 9260 2000 NAB was are trying to contact me about my account. I paid the account, I was not penalised. The calls stopped that day.

They called me about 12 times in one day, all missed calls on my mobile while I was on duty and couldn't answer the phone. They did call back the next day when I was off duty and I amswered - it was someone at MLC following up on a mrketing letter they had sent me about income preotection insurance. I advised them if I wanted to take them up on their offer I would have called them.
