said was bank of Melbourne and asked about loans held by those in house. At which point I said why would a bank be asking such a question and said I think you are a scammer and hung up.

Got a call from the same number today, very suspicious, asked me what my favorite bank was.
He knew my surname and intial and an old address Iived at.

Called saying from Bank of Melb but wouldn't put me through to supervisor or take our number off their database eventually hung up on me.
