this is a scam! I live in Tasmania and got a call... I havent been to Vic in years. and definately dont have any infringements owing in tas or Vic. clearly a scam. they may be a legit organisation that doesnt mean scammers wont POSE AS being from there.

they texted me, its not a scam, I forgot about my last payment for a fine I got and the details are correct.
im sure from time to time they make mistakes but its not a scam, not everything is a scam!

This is definitely a scam. Just rang civic compliance and i don't have anything owing and have never been fined. Delete message

Same deal, sms saying I'm overdue on payment plan... A non-existant payment plan...

This phone number (03) 9200 8333 is the Collections team for Civic Compliance Victoria. This is not a scam.This office have several numbers and this one is a different department. Not a scam- Pay your fines!!!!

(03) 9200 8111 is the civic compliance no. not (03) 9200 8333 so it is pretty clear i ithink. you got to be a dumbass to believe this is real

Its not a scam. Its the number for Civic Compliance Victoria. If you are paying off speeding/parking fines etc you should call them before the Sherriff clamps your car for non payment.

This is a follow-up.  I've called (03) 9200 8222 (this is the official number for CCV) and they confirmed that (03) 9200 8333 is also one of their numbers.  Another thing they shared with me is that sometimes there is an error (or people provide wrong numbers) and they can send such a message to a wrong person.  However, they also said that the notice should have been supported by the paper letter.  Anyway, it's a good thing to call one of the official CCV numbers and to ensure that there is nothing attached to you.

My husband received  a your payment plan 10859553 is overdue ..... Contact CCV (03) 9200 8333  text message he had no idea who or what CCV was - I googled and up came Civic Complians Victoria - We are NSW residents and the last time we were in Victoria was about 12 or more years ago -- I phoned the number and got a recorded message to call in business hours, so left a message to contact us - this was prior to googling CCV and discovering who it is - scam  will wait and see if I get a reply to my message!

Received a txt from CCV Plan (googled the name, nothing came up) saying my payment plan is overdue and to contact (03) 9200 8333.
