Scammer pretending to be from my bank asking if I made a transfer... seemed legit at first because they used my name, but I hung up after I realised it was a scam when they asked to confirm my details.
Note that they will get your name from your voicemail (if you missed a call earlier) or from your introduction when you answer the call...

Male with Indian accent claiming to be calling from Commonwealth Bank secure headquarters. Did not talk until I said hello, sounded unsure, and could not tell me who he was meant to be calling when I asked what is the name of the person you're meant to be calling if you're from Commbank HQ. He hung up quickly afterasking this question multiple times.

If you miss a call from someone and they know your name it doesn't always mean they're legit. They may have gotten your name from voicemail. Do not include your name in your voicemail.

Caller: Bank Security??????

Answered a call on my landline. Computer generated female voice claimed the call was from bank security about transactions today on my account that they considered may be suspicious. I had same call yesterday. The number was identical except that the number yesterday ended in a 4 not a 7 like today. I posted a comment on that number. The call from this number is a SCAM for the same reasons as the call from the number ending in a 4.

Kolkata calling. Some guy pretending to be someone he is not talking crap about some scam that is just really badly shop fronted. Are these scammers getting worse or are we just getting tied of their bullsh*t? Hang up, or if you like string these guys along by leaving your line open and just go shopping or have a shower. That is what I do.
