"Hi... I'm Anna Davies, and I'm calling you about helping your local community. I hope your well?" Now, at this stage I have fielded this call before. It's a recorded message, no doubt, the delivery is exactly the same as on previous occasions. So, I say not a word, after a question posed with a worried voice "Can you hear me??", the thing hangs up after another two seconds. The machine knows the gig is up. There is absolutely no point in talking to this, you would be talking to an AI type program running on a computer. There may be a human listening in, but not the voice you are hearing. Its quite disgusting. The operator jpoes to determine that you dont know whats going on. Eventually they will ask for a donation, and seek you credit card and banking details along with the rest of your identity. What a fraud that this same number another day asks about solar panels. Crooks, top of the pile scammers. I wish the government would fix this business. I dont think they are trying hard enough.

This call showed as coming from Melbourne, Vic. When I answered there were several seconds of silence, followed by background noise of a call centre and a man's voice (with an Indian accent), saying his name was Tony and wanted to talk to me about the solar panel rebate scheme. I told him that I already had solar panels and that they were fairly new. He then said "OK" and hung up. As this call came from interstate, I suspect that it was probably a scam of some sort.

WATCH OUT... A male Indian accented voice told me I had told him I was looking for a Vic Govt rebate to buy Solar Panels. Sadly for him I have had Solar Panels including Vic Gov rebate since 2019.
Shared this with him, closed the call and blocked the number. All of my solar energy upgrades have been processed through Vic Gov channels and direct to supplier. NEVER do I go through a third party.

Received a call from this number from a guy named Jason with an Indian accent. He said he’s from the federal government lol. Another lowlife scammer
