Bad don’t awnser it’s a total scam they are poopies

When did it become normal to have to filter your phone calls for spam? Now I don't pick up any call unless I know who it is. If I can, I google a phone number I don't know while they're calling. That way, I get to see pages like this that tell me it's not worth picking up. And then I block those suckers!

Cold call offering finance. Male, South Asian accent.

Knew my first name. Offering finance (loans). Told him I wasn't interested and terminated the call.

Every bloody day; day in and day out; there is some type of scam or robocall on our private landline, both mobile numbers via both calls and SMS. Cannot SOMEONE DO SOMETHING about this nonsense. It has gotten to the stage were if I don't know the number we don't answer it. Tragic really. Telecommunications are so important to society and it is being very, very much abused.

Am listing it as a scam because it likely is.

Is there a way to block all landlines numbers and leave numbers only in my contact list. I’m very anoyed.

Caller: Junk Scam lender of unsecured business loans

Rabbited on about knowing all about my business, wanted to lend $50,000 without security.
Just needed my credit card details to get started, yeah right.

Number is now blocked.

Caller: Business Loans Telemarking?

‭(03) 9133 6554‬ Called me and said they offer business loans. I asked how they got my number and he said through publicly available information. I asked who he thought he was calling and he said CMC Medical. I told him he was calling a private mobile number on the do not call list.
Blocked!

Phone recognised it as spam, did a google search and saw the comments. Thanks you lot!

Nusiance Call - just rings and hangs up 6th time. Blocked

I got that wrong the number was (03) 9133 6543 that is about my computer being attacked by a cyber hacker, BEWARE!

Called me to say I have a cyber hacker getting in to my computer, and he would help me fix it if I opened up the computer. Told him to GET LOST.

Goes to my blocked area. Know i know why people don't give out numbers. They sell your data!

Had a missed called call backed no answer

Caller: "United Express"

Called me on Monday and told me they were from United Express and wanted to assist my business. I said I wasn't interested and hung up. Called me on Tuesday, interrupting a meeting, I asked very abruptly "who are you and what do you want" then informed the caller that my number is on the Do Not Call register and they can be fined $250,000 for each time they have called me. Now that I see this list, I am going to report them.
