Have tried to call me twice today (19 Aug 2023), one hour apart. Left no message. Will never know who they are as I don't answer unknown calls

They've rung my husband's phone 5 times in the last 3 hours. He answers but doesn't say anything, then you hear Goodbye when they hang up a few seconds later.

Energy comparison, i said if nothing urgent then call me another time cause i was still at work. Indian accent said how can this not be urgent as you know energy going up….i just hung up, no time waster

This number (03) 9125 3931 called. I answered. Started rattling off something, I couldn’t understand. I asked what’s this call about and what company are you from? Her reply was aren’t you listening little girl. I said I don’t understand also I’m not interested in you selling to me and I really don’t care for it, don’t call me again. She then replied go back to kings cross you prostitute!! I laughed and then she hung up.

No ID given when called back.

I called back twice to get an answering machine asking me to leave a message and then they hung up.

The silence from their end at the start is also part of how an auto-dialer works. The system is scanning for a voice to connect you to an agent

Rang me at 3:09pm, I said hello, but big delay, don’t think they heard it. I don’t repeat myself, just waited and listened to background noise I’d call centre, and they hung up.

3 today - i'm probably on the paranoid side ... but remember not to talk first if you don't know the caller, nowadays they are even getting voice samples to capture your voice-id

Rang 7 times today, ending the call saying Goodbye. I answered once and they hung up.

I have had about 6 calls from this number all day today. I have answered twice and both times got some female robot voice. Good bye. How is this not illegal?

Call and shut. Seems to verify my number if active

they tricked me into giving my address and email address, they already had my name and phone number. they said that they were installing shower heads and door draft excluders paid for by Victorian Government. They made an appointment to instal but never turned up. Will block number and report to Scamwatch.

5 calls from this number in the space of 2 hours with no message left. Not calling them back.

Calls and then when you answer there's about 10 seconds of silence followed by a machine saying "goodbye". Likely telemarketer / unsolicited call - recommended block.
