Caller: Opus Equity Advisors These scammers call me a couple of times a week by full name. I'm annoyed so I thought I'd play along with the scammers. She said Opus Equity Advisors got my details because I interacted with DUNN and Bradstreet at some point buying a house or a car. Bullsh*t.
As above they said investors are switching to gold and would i be interested in opportunities in gold and they asked for my email. I gave them a free proton email to see what they would send me. They asked 3 questions. 1. How much would I invest? Whats my age bracket and what state am I in. Gave all false information of course. She asked me my favourite colour as a "verification" for a follow up call from an advisor. It feels like information collection for further social engineering perhaps to steal my identity. We'll see what comes in the proton mail and what the advisor has to say to me.
I want to share the info of this scam so people can find more info about them to hopefully stop these c*nts, A quick google of Opus Equity Advisors and all that comes up is this scam post. There is no Opus Equity Advisors company

Caller: Some scammers - opus equity advisors or similar Knew my details (first name and last name) and said they had bought my details off someone if I had applied for a home loan, car loan or insurance it was apparently likely through that but that would not say who they bought my details from. Started some spiel about investors are switching to gold etc. but she didn’t get very far as I wanted to know how they got my details. Seems to be trying to sell financial advisor services or gold or I don’t know what but she hung up when I kept pressing about where she got my details from.
