Caller: Female from EBAY Security?

Woman with accent said she is from Ebay Security and someone has bought a $500 gift card on my account in Mountainview (California maybe?). I just kept saying "No" until she gave up and hung up. I called the number back 3 times it was engaged. I then logged into SCAMWATCH website and reported the number as a phishing scam

Caller: lady with indian accent

she said she is from Telstra. She had half my details and said i was eligible for some discount. i told her to send details to my email since i was busy. I confirmed my email address but dropped the line while she insisted on a few more minutes. An email came in with a security code thanks to two bit security, i realized she was trying to log into one of my accounts.

Caller: Female from eBay Security

Woman with accent called saying she was from eBay and that someone had purchased a $500 gift card in my account. Asked if I authorised the purchase and also asked when was the last time I logged into my account. I asked her to confirm the eBay name, but she kept saying she could only use an ID number. As soon as I told her I didn't think she was from eBay she hung up. Tried to call back twice but number was engaged both times. Definitely a SCAM.

Woman with accent said she is from Ebay Security and someone has bought a $500 gift card on my account in California. She had some correct details about me, but I wouldn't do what she asked, which was to put her on speaker and go to my computer, where she would email me a link, etc. There was a lot of background noise, I could here multiple people talking (like a call centre). I told her I would call Ebay myself. Then a search of this number revealed multiple scam complaints.

Lady said she was from Amazon and that some guy in California had made some overseas purchases on Amazon that morning. Said she was an employee and couldn't ask for any private details but needed the name of my bank. I thought it was time to disconnect and check out the number.Scam.

Called me on my mobile today, said that they were NBN support, are you experienceing internet problems? We are calling to help you, installed 'Team viewr ' on my laptop, conducted NBN Speed test: latency, errors etc, eventually they had remote access, and I questioned supplying them my bank 3 digit security code, and I said I've had enough if this, where you calling from? He said head office is in Melbourne and I'm calling from NSW, I said I'm going now

An automatic robo-dial called me from this number saying that my Amazon Prime account was being renewed today and $99.99 would be deducted from my bank account. Seemed weird as I pay something like $5 a month, and had never got a call before. The message said I could press 1 to cancel my subscription, and when I did it replayed the same rob-message, but gave me another chance to press 1 and cancel.
I did so and got through to a very loud, Asian call centre. It was hard to hear and when I queried what the call was about they hung up. Definitely a scam.

Caller: Claimed to be from Telstra

We are changing from Optus to Telstra internet for business. Currently ridiculously slow internet speed after NBN has been and waiting for Telstra technician appt.
They called and asked us to check router and speed and then tried to get us to download ‘anydesk’ app to access mobile phone.
Googled and said this was a scam - pretty good one…
